Hutto Premier Dentistry

Orignally I gave five stars now it's down to one. I loved this dentist after having bad experiences at other places. But their insurance is messed up! They decide to tell me today 12/19/23 that my insurance plan changed and it's not accepted and they can't submit claims. So tell me why I had an appointment in June 2023 and they are just now telling me I owe from June when I have an appointment coming up. Also they claim it changed in August 2022 but I had an appointment December 2022 but never got told in June 2023 that I owed anything from that appointment. Never got a phone call, text, email or bill in the mail. Seems rather fishy to me and I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake! Response to message back: Meeting me in the middle would be taking off half the total charges. But you're not you're taking off the cheaper charge and still expecting me to pay the more expensive one, that is not meeting in the middle. If I was told in June that my December appointment hadn't been covered yet I would have happily paid for it and cancelled my June appointment to figure things out. But that's not what happened. How about I pay the December 2022 charge and you take off the June 2023 charge that seems more fair!

The hygienist Page was amazing! I absolutely HATE having my teeth touched.... it's like nails on a chalk board for me but she kept up great conversation and gave me some tips on what to do to help ease the anxiety and sensations I feel while visiting! The dentist was very friendly and helpful with my sensitive teeth as well. Highly recommend!

Called for a first time appointment for my 82 year old grandpa and they gave me an appointment for the following week. I proceeded to give them his insurance and offered a phone the insurance card had because they had changed the insurance name and I always had issues with other dental offices. They told me they didn’t need it and would call me if they did. Fast forward got a call the day before his appointment that they had not been able to verify his insurance and needed the number or an email with the card info. I sent it over via email. They eventually verified his insurance. Got a call hours before his appointment that they needed a full mouth X-ray from 3 years back, if not, they would have to charge because his insurance only covers it every 3 years. I called the previous dentist and gave them the contact. Got to my appointment and they told me they didn’t receive the X-ray. They called the office and finally received the X-ray. I left my grandpa there at the office. They called me and told me the X-ray the old office took was not a full mouth X-ray and they needed to charge us. They had already done the X-ray at this point and we had to pay. They also mentioned that we could have had the insurance cover it in 3 days!!!! 🤯 Then we went back for a filling my grandpa really needed and they said we had to pay a 50% charge. He has never paid for a filling before. They need better people working in the front to really inform people about insurance problems. Don’t like giving bad reviews but this was frustrating.

I’ve been a patient here for many years. And I walk out smiling and happy every single time. The atmosphere is so nice and friendly. The entire staff is phenomenal. However, I want to specifically speak on Hope. She is the sweetest, most kind and attentive person there. She radiates this pure and genuine energy. I literally told my fiancé yesterday after my appointment that she reminded me of sunshine. I say alllll of this to say Hutto Premier Dentistry is 10/10
